2024 Electoral Votes: How Many In Play?

When it comes to counting the 2024 electoral votes in America‘s presidential election, not as many are truly up for grabs as you may think.

Out of 538 electoral votes, with 270 needed to win, both the Democratic and Republican candidates each year much chart a path to the winning line. In reality, many states have their own leanings, and there are perhaps fewer swing states than there used to be.
