What is the state of the parties prior to the 2024 US House election, and which seats should we all watch in the lead-up to November?
We are glad you asked, because now there is a video about it. Election Yard took a look at 19 states which will have critical House races. The following is a high-level overview of the seats to watch, in which both Republicans and Democrats will need to defend what they have – though, in some cases, it will be a futile battle (the video explains this, by the way).

What About Predictions?
Not yet, at least not from us. There are plenty of good political websites, like the Cook Political Report, that have their House ratings now. Election Yard is waiting until after a few more primaries are over before issuing our first run of predictions.
The video gives away that we expect it to be a close contest and that control of the House may very well come down to a handful of seats again. The prior two elections have gone that way, so it would not be out of character.
