Senate Map Heading into 2024 Election

US Senate 2024 - pre-election map by state - 33 states have Senate races, including Nebraska with two - DEM 51, REP 49
33 states have Senate races this year, including Nebraska with two. Four Senate Independents are aligned with the Democrats.

Of the 34 seats up for election this time, 19 are held by Democrats, 11 are held by Republicans, and four belong to Independents. Bob Menendez (New Jersey) is still officially considered a Democrat by the Senate, though he is running for re-election as an Independent.

What Party Will Win the Senate in 2024?

That we do not know yet, but signs have emerged which suggest that it will be a difficult ask for the Democrats. West Virginia is a very likely Republican gain, meaning, assuming no Republican seats fall, that the Democrats would have to hold every remaining seat and have the Biden-Harris ticket re-elected to maintain the Senate majority.
